When we heard about the story of Renalin (KHJ's sponsor child in the Philippines), we decided to donate 50% of our earnings to Good Neighbors. 50% will be for other funds necessary to maintain this site. We still don't know how much we'll get out of those ads. But we really want to help Renalin and other kids in our own simple ways. And we want Hyun Joo unni to be happy.
We believe that through helping others especially the poor, we make their lives better regardless of the ways we help them.

I'm a long-time KHJ lover (and I will always be). When I found this site, I thought of joining as an author. I joined this site because Lizzy and I think the same way about KHJ. And I'm willing to help Lizzy on improving this site. Being part of LOVE Kim Hyun Joo is both enjoyable and tough. I felt like I had to be careful and sure of what I am writing about. How LOVE Kim Hyun Joo was made:
I first knew Kim Hyun Joo unni when I watched "Marrying A Millionaire." I was not yet her big fan before.. I was more interested in Ko Soo. But my aunt always tells me that Kim Hyun Joo was so beautiful and very good actress. So I remembered her name.
Then Boys Over Flowers was aired in our country. I was electrified to see her at Episode 7. I said to myself, "Cool! Is this~~ Kim Hyun Joo?? She's a lot more different here than in MAM." To be honest, I managed to finish watching BOF because of Hyun Joo unni. The drama became more interesting because of her.
Out of my curiosity, I searched for more of her dramas. I watched "Partner" and fell in love with the TaeJo - EunHo couple. I also watched "Miss Kim's Million Dollar Quest." This drama made me LOL for so many times. Hyun Joo unni is really good in comedies. Watching "Insoon is Pretty" makes me say that my aunt was right, she is really a very good actress. I watched "Twinkle Twinkle" and I really finished watching it even if the subs took forever to be released. She is versatile, she can do almost all kinds of role. I was still watching "Glass Slippers" at the time I was writing this. I already cried tons of tears. And of course, I loved the ChulWoong - SunWoo couple.. ^^
So far the movies I had watched were "Star Runner" and "If You Were Me 5." Some other dramas and movies of Hyun Joo unni are really hard to find. But I will try to watch them all.
My research about her is fruitful. But I was forced to learn Korean because I found more info about her in some Korean portal sites. I then found out about Hyun Joo unni participating in charity work. I admire her more because of that. For me, she is not just a very good actress; but also an inspirational person and a good example to us. I also found out that her friend Park Yong Ha died and she was very sad. And I think two weeks after, her father died. If I were the one who experienced it, I could have been so hopeless and think that life isn't beautiful at all. But what makes me admire her the most among other Korean actresses: She never gave up; She moved on and finds relief in charity work. I find it really amazing and inspiring to know that she became Good Neighbors' Goodwill Ambassador.
Kim Hyun Joo is a person worth admiring. And I'll be grateful to tell the world how wonderful it is to know her. She is the best!I then decided to created a blog/site for her. I know it's gonna be tough. But I try my best to share to everyone all that I can share about her. I hope that through this site, more people will remember her and will love her even more.
